Alisa Oyler is a skilled facilitator, trainer, and curriculum designer with experience working in over 20 countries including Indonesia, Sri Lanka, Myanmar, Afghanistan, Tajikistan, Haiti, Guatemala and Zimbabwe.
As an Associate with Partners in Participation she has focused her work on the international humanitarian field with a special emphasis on efforts involving multi-stakeholder process management. As a facilitator, she is highly skilled in event design including organizational and strategic planning efforts, program planning and debriefs, and conferences promoting cross learning and practical outcomes. Working with existing leadership from diverse groups including local villages, community based organizations, national boards and executive committees, bi-lateral and multi-lateral agencies and policy-making bodies she creates agendas that reflect the unique context and character of the convening groups and achieve productive and innovative aims. She was an early leader in the design and launch of the Youth as Facilitative Leaders training series and network, and has experience with a number of participatory leadership methods and group facilitation techniques as well as extensive experience with the facilitation of multicultural and multilingual groups.
